Ahhh, now for was some chit chat...so...I went out to the construction site and they were laying the carpet!!!!!!!! I met with the construction manager to make decisions about closet shelving...and then the window covering expert showed up and helped me choose and order the window covering! I was there all morning and by the time I got home I needed a nap! lol...it is really happening...our home is almost done! Which brings me to the realization that I won't have much about quilting to share and I am sure you will be bored with listening to me whine about packing and moving. We do the final walk through on the 19th and get the keys supposedly on the 29th. I so appreciate you reading all my musings and hope you will hang with me through the sporadic blogging that will happen at the end of March...but, exciting times are ahead!!!
Back to quilting...although I have not had much time to actually do any sewing that does not mean I have not been lusting after quilts...so many goodies on Pinterest, the Flicker site and in my own sewing room as I pack. My life is always about possibilities and I saw these 2 photos and almost had a "quilt seizure." Quilt seizures occur when you see a must have pattern, book or fabric. They are especially dangerous while driving and you see a Quilt Shop.
So what do you think? Aren't they adorable?! Definitely "quilt seizure" quilts!

I love that basket quilt, have been looking for something nice that I can do in reds for my DIL. They need a table mat and she said she loves red, but I noticed a lot of brown too, so this would be perfect.
ReplyDeleteI hope you get before photos, I want to see the inside before you move in;)
Debbie
